COVID-19 is changing our nation and our world. At Memphis Title Company, we have had to move quickly to respond to this growing health crisis. We are making extraordinary efforts to follow recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and World Health Organization, including diligently sanitizing our office spaces, washing hands frequently, and minimizing personal contact between staff and clients. We have made several critical decisions to support the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community, and wish to share those with you.

Effective immediately, we respectfully request that only those required to sign documents attend closing. Realtors and loan officers are absolutely critical to the closing process, but for your safety and the safety of our clients and staff, we ask that you consider staying home. We can FaceTime you if you would like, so that you can participate remotely, and can send settlement statements to you via email for review prior to closing. We also ask that those required to attend closing do not bring children, friends or relatives. We will work with you to schedule closings so that family members can sign at different times for childcare purposes. If you have a question as to whether you will be signing, ask your closing paralegal. If you or anyone required to attend your closing is sick, please let us know immediately and we will work to find a solution for documents to be signed without coming to the office (i.e. a power of attorney.)

We appreciate your support and cooperation with our efforts to care for our clients and community, and we assure you that we are committed to making your closings happen on time and as smoothly as possible for all involved, despite these difficult circumstances.
